Insights into the future of the data center industry

The first day of Vertiv Week 2025 was all about the future: Under the motto “2026–2030 Data Center Outlook – hosted by Vertiv”, leading representatives of European data center associations, industry experts, analysts, and media gathered to discuss upcoming developments in digital infrastructure.

The focus was on topics such as digital sovereignty, artificial intelligence, and the future of the European data center landscape. The intensive discussions and keynotes provided valuable insights and demonstrated how important it is for national associations to exchange ideas in order to form a common vision.

A big thank you goes to Stefano Mozzato and Eliza Gut for their excellent organization—it was no easy task to bring together 17 national trade associations for two days in the beautiful city of Padua (Italy).

For us as the Swiss Data Center Association (SDCA), it was a pleasure and an honor to be part of this inspiring summit. The exchange with our European colleagues was informative, motivating, and enriching.
