HIAG is a leading Swiss real estate company, listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, with a diversified portfolio of yielding and development properties.
The portfolio comprises, among other sites, former industrial sites of substantial size and significant power capacity. By continuing to leverage the real estate expertise, HIAG is increasingly focusing on the data centre market, which has become a prominent trend in the real estate market in Switzerland.
HIAG integrated business model covers the value chain over the entire life cycle of a property. The core elements are portfolio/asset management with in-house property management, site development and transaction management for the continuous optimization of the portfolio. The investment strategy focuses on residential, commercial and industrial properties in core economic regions and future-oriented growth regions in German-speaking and French-speaking Switzerland
In addition, HIAG’s aspiration is to be one of the pioneers in the industry in the area of sustainability. Its activities are intended to achieve positive ecological, economic and social effects along the entire value chain.

HIAG’s expertise in the field of data centre:
Develop and build bespoke core-and-shell solutions, offering data centre operators real estate development expertise to enable fast and secure project development.
Understand broader needs of data centre operators and develop innovative concepts like energy waste recovery.
Since 2014, at our Meyrin site, we have jointly developed and operated a heat loop that repurposes waste heat from HP’s data centre to warm adjacent industrial buildings. With the upcoming 6 MW data centre, the heat loop will be connected to the central district heating system.
