The board of the Swiss Data Center Association (SDCA) held an all-day strategy meeting to define the association’s direction for 2026 and prioritize key issues for the future.

The focus was on the medium-term strategic direction: based on current market and industry developments, the most important areas of action were identified in order to optimally position the SDCA for the coming years.

Another focus was on sharpening the vision and mission. In the future, both should convey even more clearly what the SDCA stands for and what contribution it makes to Switzerland as a data center location. The more precise orientation provides guidance for members, partners, and stakeholders.

In addition, the positioning of the association was further sharpened. The aim is to strengthen the visibility and relevance of the SDCA both nationally and internationally – through a clear stance on content, effective communication, and continuous dialogue with politics and business.

With these decisions, the board is creating a solid foundation for the association’s work in 2026 and sending an important signal for the strong, future-oriented development of the Swiss data center industry.
