On November 20, 2024, Data Center Nation (DCN) took place in Zurich, with the Swiss Data Center Association (SDCA) participating as a partner for the second time. The event, which took place at Messe Zurich, brought together over 600 decision-makers from the Swiss data center industry and provided a platform for exchanging ideas on current developments and challenges in the industry.

The SDCA actively participated in various panel discussions and gave exciting talks on key topics such as sustainability, hybrid IT and cloud solutions, and data center real estate. Particularly noteworthy was the panel discussion “Together for digital independence: cooperation between politics and business in data center development”, in which Yves Zischek, board member of the SDCA and Managing Director of Digital Realty Switzerland, and Roger Süess, also board member of the SDCA and CEO of Green, participated.

The SDCA’s active participation in DCN Zurich 2024 underscores its commitment to promoting and developing the Swiss data center industry. By working with industry leaders and participating in important events such as DCN, the SDCA is helping to shape the future of digital infrastructure in Switzerland.
