SDCA General Assembly 2026 – Strengthening our mission together

This year, we meet at the iconic Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall, overlooking Europe’s largest waterfall. The assembly will be hosted by Vertiv, one of our esteemed Platinum Partners. With Switzerland – and Neuhausen in particular – serving as Vertiv’s EMEA headquarters, this venue offers a meaningful and symbolic setting for our 2026 gathering.

Following the SDCA morning session, Vertiv will share their perspective on artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure, highlighting the strategic role of data centers in enabling digital sovereignty. Their contribution will include insights into global industry developments, drawing on experience from the United States, where major trends often emerge 12–18 months ahead of Europe.

This General Assembly is not only an opportunity to define the future course of our association, but also a platform for dialogue, inspiration, and shared perspectives. Together, we will celebrate our achievements, exchange ideas on upcoming projects, and continue strengthening our collaboration.

Franz Grüter, member of the Swiss National Council, will join at 2:00/2:30 pm. At 3 pm he will speak about global development and its impact on data sovereignty and datacenter industry, in Switzerland.
